Thursday, July 4: 4th of July Parade, 9:45am Rehearsal Start in Band Room
Director’s Notes! Hello Band Families!
We had a great first rehearsal on Thursday! We’re looking forward to another fun week with our rehearsal and the parade! If you will be marching with us in the parade, please turn in your permission slip as soon as possible. You can find the tentative timeline for Thursday’s parade here. The pre-rehearsal leadership team meeting will begin at 5:30pm.
You can find the summer schedule here. Be sure to read the information at the top of the page! Band lockers will not be available until after July 4th. If you need to rent a school instrument, be sure to arrive at rehearsal early.
With Band Camp approaching, please be sure to check your band class enrollment to make sure you are properly registered. If you have any questions regarding the marching/non-marching registration, please reach out so we can make sure we have a spot for you on the field!

Please look for GBS parent board volunteers (they’ll be wearing yellow shirts) at drop off & pick up at the 7/1 summer rehearsal. They can answer any questions you may have as we start the marching band season.

Band Camp
Band Camp will take place
8/12-8/16 from 12:45-9:00 p.m.
There will be a parent meeting followed by a performance by the band
on Friday evening, 8/16. More details to follow!!
