Director’s Notes
Hello Band Families!
It’s been a great first full week of school, and we’re excited to have our first football game this Friday! Rehearsal will begin in the band room at 5:15pm. The uniform for the game will be announced in the middle of the week.
To give the band more time to prepare, we are adding a rehearsal on Tuesday, September 3rd from 5:45pm-9pm. The band was surveyed to find this date. Here are a few things to note about this rehearsal:
- Missing this rehearsal will not negatively affect a student’s grade.
- If a student attends this rehearsal, they can use it as a credit for:
- A missed marching band rehearsal
- A missed pep band performance during first semester
- Extra credit if the student attends all marching band rehearsals and pep band performances
The Marching Band’s first competition is at Wheeling High School on September 14th! We hope you can join us and cheer on your Marching Titans!
