Director’s Notes

Hello Band Families!

There is a new Instagram account in our band family! @gbs_color_guard is now active! Check it out and follow to see the incredible work the Color Guard is doing!

Thank you to all the students and parent volunteers who helped make Junior High Band Day a success! We will be welcoming back our middle school feeder bands for a special halftime performance at the football game this Friday! Students, if you would like to arrive early to help our middle school friends find their way to their homerooms, it would be greatly appreciated. Please talk to Mr. Boron if you are available to volunteer.

Click the link to see the itinerary for the Prospect Competition (Oct. 1). Any changes to the itinerary will be communicated through eblast and google classroom. Please remember to bring food to rehearsal and bring cash for concessions at the competition. Dress for the weather, including potential rain!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
